Compliments, Feedback and Complaints

How to share a compliment, give feedback or raise a concern about a SkyCare service

Compliments, Feedback and Complaints

SkyCare welcomes feedback from patients, relatives, clients and professional partners. Whether you would like to recognise a member of our team, suggest an improvement or raise a concern about a service you have received, we want to hear from you.

Your feedback helps us recognise good practice, identify where we can improve and review concerns properly and fairly.

Send us a compliment

If you have had a positive experience with SkyCare, we would be very pleased to hear about it. Compliments are shared with the staff and clinical teams involved so that good work is recognised.

Give us feedback

You do not need to make a formal complaint to tell us that something could have been better. General feedback, suggestions and comments are useful to our team and can help us improve the way we communicate and deliver our services.

Make a complaint

We aim to provide a high standard of care and service, but we recognise that there may be occasions when someone is unhappy with an aspect of their experience. If you raise a complaint, we will treat it seriously, respectfully and fairly.

Our complaints process is intended to be accessible. If you need help explaining your concern or completing the form, please contact SkyCare and let us know how we can assist.

What happens after you make a complaint?

When a complaint is received, the information provided is reviewed so that we can understand the concern and decide what further investigation is required.

  • We acknowledge and review the concern and make sure it is directed to the appropriate person.
  • We investigate what happened, which may include reviewing records and speaking with staff, clinicians, managers or other people involved.
  • We consider what can be learned and whether any changes to practice, training, communication or procedures are appropriate.
  • We take action where necessary to address issues identified during the review.
  • We respond to you with the outcome of the complaint review and any relevant actions arising from it.

Not sure which form to use?

If you simply want to tell us what went well, use the compliments form. If you have a suggestion or general comment, use the feedback form. If you are unhappy with the care, service, communication or handling of your case and want the matter formally reviewed, use the complaints form.

If you are still unsure, contact our team and we will help direct your message appropriately.
