طبی معاون مریض سے گھر، ہسپتال، کیئر سہولت یا براہِ راست ایئرپورٹ پر مل سکتا ہے۔ وہ چیک اِن، سکیورٹی، وہیل چیئر یا ایئرپورٹ مدد، ادویات اور دورانِ پرواز نگرانی میں ساتھ رہتا ہے۔
منزل پر پہنچنے کے بعد ضرورت ہو تو زمینی ایمبولینس یا دوسری طبی منتقلی بھی پہلے سے ترتیب دی جا سکتی ہے، تاکہ سفر صرف ایئرپورٹ تک محدود نہ رہے بلکہ بستر سے بستر تک مکمل ہو۔

ایئر لائن کی میڈیکل کلیئرنس اکثر سب سے زیادہ وقت لینے والا مرحلہ ہوتی ہے، اس لیے جتنی جلد معلومات مل جائیں اتنی جلد MEDIF یا دوسری درخواست شروع کی جا سکتی ہے۔
میڈیکل کلیئرنس شروع کرنے کا مقصد یہ ہوتا ہے کہ خاندان فیصلہ کرنے کے بعد غیر ضروری تاخیر کا شکار نہ ہو۔ سفر کی حتمی بکنگ خاندان کی منظوری کے بعد ہی کی جاتی ہے۔
دوسرے آپشن موجود ہوتے ہیں۔ اگر مریض کمرشل پرواز کے لیے مناسب نہ ہو تو نجی ایئر ایمبولینس استعمال کی جا سکتی ہے، جس کے لیے عام کمرشل ایئر لائن کی Fit to Fly منظوری درکار نہیں ہوتی۔
بعض خاندان مریض کی حالت بہتر ہونے تک انتظار کرتے ہیں اور پھر کمرشل پرواز کے لیے دوبارہ طبی منظوری لیتے ہیں۔ روٹ کے مطابق زمینی ایمبولینس بھی کبھی متبادل ہو سکتی ہے۔
اگر کمرشل Fit to Fly نہ ملے تو عملی طور پر تین راستے ہو سکتے ہیں: نجی ایئر ایمبولینس، طبی حالت بہتر ہونے تک انتظار، یا جہاں جغرافیائی طور پر ممکن ہو زمینی ایمبولینس۔
جی ہاں۔ SkyCare کمرشل ایئر لائن پر اسٹریچر پرواز کا مکمل انتظام کر سکتا ہے۔ یہ عام نشست پر طبی معاون کے مقابلے میں مہنگی اور ترتیب دینے میں زیادہ وقت لینے والی ہوتی ہے، لیکن ایسے مریض کے لیے مناسب ہو سکتی ہے جو بیٹھ نہیں سکتا۔

ڈاکٹر، نرس یا کریٹیکل کیئر پیرا میڈک سفر کے دوران مریض کی حالت، آرام، آکسیجن اور ضروری ادویات کی نگرانی کرتا ہے۔
جی ہاں، خاندان یا ساتھی کے لیے اسی پرواز میں سفر کا انتظام اکثر ممکن ہوتا ہے۔ لیکن طبی معاون اور مریض کی نشستیں عموماً میڈیکل کلیئرنس کے ساتھ بک ہوتی ہیں اور اس دوران ایئر لائن کرایے بڑھ سکتے ہیں۔
اگر شروع ہی میں بہت زیادہ اضافی نشستیں روک لی جائیں تو کلیئرنس میں تاخیر کے دوران پورے گروپ کی قیمت بڑھ سکتی ہے۔ اسی لیے ہم اکثر ایک یا دو قریبی افراد تک ابتدائی بکنگ محدود رکھنے کا مشورہ دیتے ہیں۔
مریض کی پرواز حتمی ہو جانے کے بعد دوسرے خاندان والے اسی فلائٹ پر الگ ٹکٹ بک کر سکتے ہیں، اگر نشستیں دستیاب ہوں۔ یہ مجموعی لاگت کم رکھنے میں مدد کر سکتا ہے۔
دوسرے آپشن موجود رہتے ہیں۔ زیادہ تر کمرشل ایئر لائنز کے لیے مریض کو طبی منظوری درکار ہوتی ہے۔ اگر منظوری نہ ملے تو ایئر ایمبولینس استعمال کی جا سکتی ہے، یا مریض کی حالت بہتر ہونے تک انتظار کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
روٹ کے مطابق زمینی ایمبولینس بھی کبھی مناسب متبادل ہو سکتی ہے۔ حتمی انتخاب مریض کی حالت، فاصلے اور وقت کی ضرورت پر منحصر ہوگا۔
پرواز میں آکسیجن کی ضرورت بہت عام ہے، حتیٰ کہ ایسے مریض میں بھی جو زمین پر آکسیجن استعمال نہیں کرتا۔ بلندی پر کیبن پریشر کم ہونے سے خون میں آکسیجن کی سطح گر سکتی ہے۔
ضرورت کے مطابق ایئر لائن سے منظور شدہ پورٹیبل آکسیجن کنسنٹریٹر یا ایئر لائن کی اپنی آکسیجن سروس پہلے سے ترتیب دی جا سکتی ہے۔
اگر مریض زمین پر پہلے ہی آکسیجن استعمال کرتا ہو تو دورانِ پرواز مطلوبہ مقدار طبی جائزے کے بعد طے کی جاتی ہے اور ایئر لائن سے منظوری لی جاتی ہے۔
جی ہاں، بعض کیسز میں SkyCare برطانیہ میں نجی یا مناسب ماہر ہسپتال میں داخلے کی منصوبہ بندی میں مدد کر سکتا ہے۔
اس کے لیے مریض کے تازہ طبی نوٹس پہلے دیکھنا ضروری ہوتا ہے تاکہ معلوم ہو سکے کہ کس قسم کے ماہر، بستر یا علاج کی ضرورت ہے۔
ہم وصول کرنے والے ہسپتال کے ساتھ رابطہ، طبی دستاویزات کی منتقلی اور سفر کے وقت داخلے کی عملی ترتیب کو مریض کی واپسی کے منصوبے کے ساتھ جوڑ سکتے ہیں۔
کمرشل پرواز کی کوٹیشن اس وقت دستیاب ایئر لائن نشستوں اور کرایوں پر مبنی ہوتی ہے۔ MEDIF یا دوسری طبی منظوری میں تاخیر کے دوران ٹکٹ کی قیمت بڑھ سکتی ہے یا نشست ختم ہو سکتی ہے۔
