Flying with the SeQual Eclipse 5
The SeQual Eclipse 5 is FAA accepted and may be used on many commercial airlines, subject to the airline’s own medical clearance procedures and conditions of carriage.
Unlike lightweight portable oxygen concentrators, the SeQual Eclipse 5 is physically larger due to its ability to provide both continuous-flow and pulse-dose oxygen therapy. Depending on your airline, aircraft type and seating class, there may not always be sufficient space to safely accommodate the device in front of your seat whilst in use.
For some Economy Class journeys, particularly where the concentrator is required throughout the flight, an additional passenger seat may be required to safely accommodate the equipment. Business and First Class seating often provides significantly more space, although airline policies vary.
